'The Voice' 2022: Dominic Patrick fails to get chair turn from coaches, fans say 'they should have turned'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Growing up in a large family that loved music, Dominic Patrick was always surrounded by music wherever he went. The 37-year-old described family events as "concerts". After singing for his family for years, Dominic wanted to share his talents with the world, so he decided to audition for 'The Voice' Season 22.
The Philadelphia resident picked Usher's 'U Got It Bad' for his audition performance. Although Dominic seemed confident about making an impression, unfortunately, none of the coaches turned for him. The coaches especially John Legend and Gwen Stefani felt that the song he picked didn't do justice to the bigness of his voice. Camila Cabello too chimed in expressing how she wishes there was more texture to his voice. The coaches however encouraged Dominic to return next season and try again.
