Crazy Rich Asians centers on American-born Chinese economics professor Rachel Chu, who accompanies her boyfriend to Singapore for his best friend's wedding only to get involved in the lives of Asia's rich and famous. She understands that her boyfriend is from a extremely wealthy family with a dark past and that he is wanted by every woman there.

The trailer further showcases Rachel's wonder at witnessing the wealthy extravaganza and magnificence of her boyfriend's family.

Crazy Rich Asians is scheduled to hit theaters Aug. 17.
