LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Netflix has officially dropped the episodes of ‘The Tourist’ Season 2, and if you haven’t watched it yet, now might be the perfect time to do so.

Starring Jamie Dornan, Danielle Macdonald, Conor MacNeill, Olwen Fouéré, Nessa Matthews, Mark McKenna, and Nathan Page in pivotal roles, the thriller series revolves around Elliot Stanley, who struggles to piece together his identity.

'The Tourist’ Season 2, Episode 1 opens with Helen and Elliot making love inside a train compartment.

Fourteen months later, Helen and Elliot are still in love, as they embark on a new adventure together.

They are on their way to Cambodia when Helen tells Elliot that his friend Tommy has written a letter asking him to return home to Ireland.

The episode sets the stage for a gripping new season as they race against time to uncover the truth about Elliot’s past.

Detective Ruairi Slater (Conor MacNeill) comes into the scene to solve the mystery. Helen turns to Slater for help, feeling guilty regarding Elliot's disappearance.

As the news of Elliot's disappearance spreads, Niamh Cassidy (Olwen Fouéré), Elliot’s mother, rushes to the police station after receiving an image of her son in captivity.

Helen reaches out to Niamh and suggests they go for a coffee together. Niamh is surprised to discover that Elliot has no memory of his past life.

This episode has a great mix of tension, action, and character growth as Elliot’s past is slowly coming together.

As the episode progresses further, Helen follows Niamh to a housing estate where she confronts Brian McDonnell (David Greene), a cousin of the O’Donnells.

Niamh demands information about her son from Brian but he refuses.

In a shocking twist, Niamh stabs Brian in the eye, adding another layer to the story.

After finding the key, Elliot tries to get away but after an exhausting chase, he is captured again.

In the last scene, Elliot discovers he is imprisoned on an island.

In an unexpected twist, a diver tells someone that “Elliot Stanley is dead,” leaving viewers with more questions than answers.
