Netflix isn't new to the true-crime documentary game. In fact, the streaming giant has put out some of its best documentaries in that specific genre. 'The Tinder Swindler' comes as an addition to that impressive catalog. 

The show follows three women who set out to bring down Shimon Hayut, a conman who deceived them and robbed them of their life savings. The show is all set to release on Netflix on February 2, 2022. 'The Tinder Swindler' will be available exclusively on the streaming giant's services around the world.

What is 'The Tinder Swindler' all about?

The summary says, "Posing as a wealthy, jet-setting diamond mogul, he wooed women online then conned them out of millions of dollars. Now some victims plan for payback." The documentary focuses on the attempts of Cecilie Fjellhoy, Pernilla Sjoholm and Ayleen Charlotte to bring down Shimon Hayut, their common deceiver.

'The Tinder Swindler' will feature interviews with three of the conman Shimon Hayut's victims - Cecilie Fjellhoy, Pernilla Sjoholm and Ayleen Charlotte. The interviews will shed light on how the women were cheated and robbed by Hayut and follow them as they set out to settle scores with him.

The show is produced by Bernadette Higgins, known for 'Til Death Do Us Part,' 'Fear City: New York vs the Mafia,' and 'Pariah: The Lives and Deaths of Sonny Liston.'
