'The Sleepover': Meet Malin Akerman, Joe Manganiello and rest of the cast of Netflix's action-comedy film
When a mother's true identity is released to her kids, they end up with a night filled with action-packed comedy to save their parents. The drama comes to Netflix later in August and brings with it a hilarious story that gives us 'The Pacifier' vibe. Here are the artistes that make up the incredible cast.
Malin Akerman as Margot Finch
Akerman plays Laurie Jupiter in 'Watchmen' (2009), Nancy in 'The Final Girls' (2015), Annie in 'Happythankyoumoreplease' (2010), and Tess in '27 Dresses' (2008). In 2009 she won the Golden Schmoes for Best T&A of the Year for 'Watchmen' and in 2016 she was nominated for the iHorror Award for Best Female Performance - Horror Movie and the Chainsaw Award for Best Supporting Actress for 'The Final Girls.' Her most recent works include 'Dollface' (2019), 'A Piece of My Heart' (2019), 'Medical Police' (2020), 'Friendsgiving' (2020), and 'Prism.'
Akerman also has two releases in pre-production titled 'Cold Providence' (2021) where she plays Gill and 'The Three of Us'. She also has one release other the 'The Sleepover' in post-production and it is titled 'Chick Fight' where she plays the role of Ana. In 2006, the stunning actress was also named #80 in FHM magazine's "100 Sexiest Women in the World 2006" supplement as per her IMDb page, and she also studied psychology at York University, Canada. Even more interestingly, the actress was also part of a rock bank named Ozono (later called The Petal Stones).
Sadie Stanley as Clancy Finch
Stanley is known for her roles as Kim Possible in 2019's production, Tracey Kruger from 'Coop and Cami Ask the World' (2019), Parker in 'Dead to Me' (2020) and Brea Bee in 'The Goldbergs' (2020). The young actress is from Columbia, South Carolina and her role as the animated badass Possible gave way to her other releases. Stanley has one release in post-production titled 'Let Us In' where she plays the role of Jessie.
Joe Manganiello
Manganiello is widely known for his handsome looks and as the man that keeps the stunning Sofía Vergara happy. The actor is known for his roles as Sonny Stano in 'Bottom of the 9th' (2019), Alcide Herveaux in 'True Blood' (2010-2014), Big Dick Richie in 'Magic Mike XXL' (2015) and himself in 'Pee-wee's Big Holiday' (2016). In 2011, Manganiello won the Scream Award for Breakout Performance - Male for 'True Blood' and the Saturn Award for Best Guest Performance in a Television Series for the same production.
His recent works include 'Daybreak' (2019), 'Star Wars Resistance' (2019), and 'Jay and Silent Bob' reboot (2019). The talented actor has three releases in post-production - 'Zack Snyder's Justice League', 'Archenemy' and 'Shoplifters of the World.' There are two releases that were announced — 'Justice League Part Two' where Manganiello will play Slade Wilson and 'Deathstroke' where he will play the same character.
Cree Cicchino
Cicchino is known for her roles as Babe Carano in 'Game Shakers' (2015-2019), Marisol Fuentes in 'Mr. Iglesias' (2019-2020), and Fred in 'Nickelodeon's Ho Ho Holiday Special' (2015). In 2018 Cicchino was nominated for the Imagen Award for Best Young Actor - Television for 'Game Shakers'. Karla Souza
Souza is known for her roles as Laurel Castillo in the hit show 'How To Get Away With Murder' (2014-2020), Barbara Noble in 'We Are The Nobles' (2013), Roxana Robledo in 'Suave Patria' (2012), and Jackie in 'Instructions Not Included' (2013). In 2013, Souza won the Pantalla de Cristal for Best Actress for 'Nosotros los Nobles' aka 'We are The Nobles' and a Premio ACE for Best New Actress for Suave Patria. In 2014, she won the Diosa de Plata Silvia for Best Performance - Actress for the same production.

The synopsis reads, "In this family adventure-comedy, Clancy (Sadie Stanley) and her kid brother Kevin (Maxwell Simkins) discover that their seemingly normal stay-at-home mom Margot (Malin Åkerman) is actually a former high-end thief in the witness protection program. When both their mom and dad (Ken Marino) are kidnapped and forced to pull one last job with an ex-flame of Margot’s (Joe Manganiello), the siblings must team up to rescue their parents over the course of one action-packed night that they’ll never forget. 'The Sleepover' is directed by Trish Sie ('Pitch Perfect 3')."
