LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: HBO's 'The Regime' presents an engrossing narrative of the Chancellor of a fictional European country against the backdrop of an opulent yet oppressive environment.

Created by the man behind 'The Menu', 'Succession', and 'Will Tracy', the series presents a dark satirical study of power, in which a Chancellor is plagued with anxiety as her authority crumbles.

The series follows Chancellor Elena Vernham (Kate Winslet), who has total control over her country. However, as the story unfolds, her fears and paranoia become clear.

In the middle of this, she employs disgraced soldier Herbert Zubak (Matthias Schoenaerts) as her advisor and appears to be influenced by him.

However, here's everything you need to know about the show so you don't miss out on the drama!
