'The Masked Singer' Spoilers: Is Raccoon eliminated? Here's proof that he will be going home after playoffs
The Group A playoff stage has arrived and the masked celebrities from the lineup will be seen on stage one more time in the episode titled 'Group A Wildcard Round -- Enter the Wildcards.' The synopsis of the episode reads, "The first wildcard character enters the competition when the members of group A return to the stage for their second performances of the season."
Apart from the Group A performers on stage, 'The Masked Singer', as said in the synopsis, an equally impressive wildcard mask will also make its first appearance on the show. So far, there's been no information about who the wildcard contestants will be and audiences will have to wait for the episode to air for the scoop on that. However, we are aware of the person going home from Group A in the first playoff rounds and it's none other than the Raccoon.

Who will be eliminated from 'The Masked Singer' Group A playoff episode?
The Group A masked celebrities include - The Seashell, Robopine, Raccoon and the Russian Dolls. During their first time on stage former Group A competitor - the Snail was eliminated and revealed further as Kermit the Frog. The Raccoon wasn't pitch-perfect when it came to his singing voice but hey! the show is not about that, we've witnessed that in the past. Remember the White Tiger and his horrible singing but exceptional dancing that helped him go forward in the show for a number of weeks?
The Raccoon came and did his own wild thing on the stage while singing 'Wild Thing' by the Troggs. Even though he wasn't following a script, the Raccoon made sure that his performance leaves everyone wondering "who is he?" The Raccoon is someone older, judging by the way he moves but his infectious energy caused everyone to get on their feet and hoot and cheer as loud as they could for this furry masked celebrity.
However, the odds are against him in the upcoming playoff round and Raccoon will, unfortunately, be seen eliminated from the season at the end of the hour-long episode. As to the identity of this masked singer, all clues point towards 'Machete' actor Danny Trejo but we will find out for sure after his elimination which will be followed by him being unmasked.
'The Masked Singer' airs Wednesday at 8 pm ET on FOX.
