'The Masked Singer' Season 7 Spoilers: Is Shaggy the Space Bunny? Here are clues

While all the clues do point at Shaggy possibly being Space Bunny, we will have to wait until the unmasking to see whether it is indeed him or not

Following Jack in the Box aka Rudy Giuliani's elimination on the previous episode of 'The Masked Singer', group 3's remaining four members — Queen Cobra, The Prince, Baby Mammoth, and Space Bunny, are back to battle it out for a spot in the finale.

While fans are racking their brains trying to uncover the identity of Queen Cobra, The Prince, and the Baby Mammoth, the same can't be said for Space Bunny. While Team Cuddy's clue package was definitely pretty cryptic, after watching his foot-tapping performance to 'Jump in the Line' by Harry Belafonte, it didn't take much effort for the fans to immediately recognize it as popular Jamaican-American reggae star Shaggy! Read on to know all the clues that point at Shaggy hiding underneath the Space Bunny costume.

Clues for Space Bunny

Just like all the other clue packages on 'The Masked Singer', Space Bunny's cluemercial too was pretty interesting and peppered with subtle hints pointing at the identity of the celebrity behind the elaborate costume. The clue package opened with Space Bunny sitting in an office, where he gets stung by a bee while the photocopy machine prints out a red handprint. Space Bunny then goes on a ride through outer space with a basketball that's set on fire trailing behind him. A dog too pops up in the clue package. 

The Team Cuddly's member then proudly explains that he has achieved a lot in his career when the map of North Carolina flashes on our screen. The mystery clue package ends with Space Bunny declaring that he "shoots for the moon" with all his endeavors. "Are you tired from a long career trailblazing all over the galaxy? You’re sleepy, groggy and not feeling like your always cuddly self? Be a hero and cover all your bases with Space Boost energy drink. Extreme, long-lasting energy with no side effects. Space Boost energy drink, best fuel to save the day. It’s out of this world!" the voiceover states in the clue package. 

Is Shaggy under Space Bunny Mask?

Space Bunny's distinct island accent prompted Robin Thicke to guess dancehall star Sean Paul as the Team Cuddly's member, while Nicole Scherzinger initially felt that it was Shaggy before switching her guess to LeBron James. As it turns out, Nicole may have been right on the money, with her initial guess! Aside from the unmistakable accent, Space Bunny's clues pretty much reveal Shaggy's identity. The North Carolina clues in the cluemerical is a nod to his first single 'Oh Carolina' which prompted him to pursue a career in the music industry. The bee sting could be a reference to Shaggy's album with Sting, while the red handprint could be a play on the lyrics from one of his most popular songs 'It Wasn't Me'. The flaming basketball might be a homage to his album 'Hot Shot', while the journey into outer space could be a reference to his namesake character from Scooby Doo's stint on 'Space Jam: A New Legacy'!

Several fans took to Twitter to declare that it was Shaggy underneath the Space Bunny mask. A fan tweeted, "Space Bunny has got to be Shaggy! #excited #TheMaskedSinger." "I think Shaggy is under the #SpaceBunnyMask 100% #TheMaskedSinger #TheGoodTheBadTheCuddly," wrote a fan. Another fan added, "I'm just amused, shaggy's clues couldn't be anymore obvious.. #themaskedsinger." "Man yall are deaf. That was definitely Shaggy in the bunny outfit. #TheMaskedSinger," observed a fan.

Another fan shared, "#spacebunnymask has to be Shaggy. That voice. And doing the reggae song from the movie "Beetlejuice" too. #TheMaskedSinger." "@MaskedSingerFOX I'm onto you Shaggy I know you're underneath the #SpaceBunnyMask might as well say Zoinks!! #TheMaskedSinger," joked a fan. "The red handprint on the paper! ohhhh it's DEFINITELY shaggy," commented a fan on the show's YouTube clip. "It's shaggy. The basketball represents the song "hotshot". Shaggy Dog being a clue to his name. The explosions represents his song "Boombastic". The NC clue represents "OH Carolina", pointed out another fan.

While all the clues do point at Shaggy possibly being Space Bunny, we will have to wait until the unmasking to see whether it is indeed him or not. We can't wait to see who is hiding underneath the Space Bunny mask, but until then we'll be looking for more clues that might confirm our guess.
