Showtime's 'The Man Who Fell To Earth' is the latest sci-fi on television. and it hasn't disappointed the audience that tuned in to see the show based on the 1963 novel of the same name by Walter Tevis. Starring Academy Award nominees Chiwetel Ejiofor and Naomie Harris, the drama follows an alien crash landing deep into the oilfields of New Mexico to find a scientist Julian Falls (Harris), and fulfill his mission: Save his world.

However, the duo will have to save Earth before crossing dimensions. Twitter was lavish in its praise for the sci-fi drama. "I first saw Bowie's The Man Who Fell to Earth when I was a teenager. Read the book then too. And I can tell already, halfway through episode one, that I'm going to enjoy Showtime's take on the story," one of the tweets read.
