Season 7 of 'The Haves and the Have Nots' might have just wrapped with a shocking finale, aka Episode 20 titled 'The Reaping', but even Wyatt Cryer finally dying couldn't steal away the sheer joy fans were gifted with, when immediately following the episode, Season 8 was announced. Arriving just a month after the Season 7 finale, 'The Haves and the Have Nots' Season 8 will premiere on Tuesday, November 24, at 8 pm only on OWN.

Plot
Based on the events of the finale of Season 7, the upcoming Season 8 will focus on a number of things, starting with the aftermath of the Cryers learning of their son Wyatt's death. His mother, Katheryn, was already pretty aloof of her son and refused to pay up to the Malone, for which they cost her her own son, and knowing Jim, he will also probably think good riddance, now that his household items selling addict of a troubled son is gone. But that's just how the Cryers are wired. On the Young side, Candace's speculated pregnancy might be focused a bit more, and so will be Hanna's budding love life with Al. The subplot that one can look forward to the most is David Harrington's soon-to-be pain in the ass Alissa, who was last seen on her way out of his house claiming rape. That brings us to the Ice queen Veronica, who is currently blackmailing her new boytoy into continuing his service - of all types - towards her.
Cast
The entire cast of Season 7 is expected to return in the eighth season, except perhaps Aaron O'Connell as Wyatt, but that again if the character is actually dead and not once again miraculously survived. The rest of the cast involves Tika Sumpter as Candace Young, John Schneider as Jim Cryer, Crystal Fox as Hanna Young, Angela Robinson as Veronica Harrington, Renee Lawless as Katheryn Cryer, Peter Parros as David Harrington, Gavin Houston as Jeffrey Harrington, and Tyler Lepley as Benny Young.

The American actor, writer, producer, and director was Forbes' highest-paid man in entertainment in 2011, earning US$130 million between May 2010 and May 2011. Perry is widely acclaimed for his contributions to the Black entertainment community, along with his stellar soap operas and sitcoms, especially his stage role Madea, a tough elderly woman.
