'The Haves and the Have Nots' Season 7 Finale: Is Candace pregnant? Eagle-eyed fans convinced after these hints
After the shocking whirlwind that was the Season 7 finale of 'The Haves and the Have Nots', the entire fandom has finally found the answer to the question they have been asking about Tika Sumpter's character Candace Young. Taking it to social media, fans have debunked what it meant when Candace Young of all people complained she has been tired even though she is always up on her hustle. Several viewers flocked to Twitter wondering if Candace was pregnant. Most of them also think she most certainly is.
The season finale, Episode 20 'The Reaping', saw Candace and her brother Benjamin Young get down to business discussing why Derrick's truth -- about the man raping Hanna in a drug frenzy long ago -- was kept a secret. Benny is furious with Candace who tries to tell her brother that it was a mistake, the outcome of which was Candace herself and he should let it go. Soon after, in a chat with the Malone progeny Vinny, Candace talks about being asleep a she was tired. And this hit odd to fans.

They need to get back to going to the hotel drugstore &her take a pregnancy test so she can see Charles," shared a fan on Twitter, elaborating their theory. It's pretty foolproof actually; Candace really is never backing down from her hustle, and she has been absent for the most part this season.

A third fan also drew the lies between Candace resting more often than normal writing: "Candace taking naps because she is pregnant!" For others, however, this wasn't as believable. "Someone said Candace is pregnant?!? Got to be a lie."

The other fan theory supporting the pregnancy speculations is actress Tika Sumpter who announced her own pregnancy around September 2019, around the time when Season 7 was being shot. Storylines are often known to tailor character arcs based on the actors who play them, and one eagle-eyed fan claimed "Tika sitting w/her knees up to hide that baby bump."
Should Season 8 commence with a pregnancy in the character's storyline, It's also understandable why Cadance would keep this a secret. The child could be expectedly Charles who doesn't hold the exact best track record for being kind to her after publicly humiliating her on television. But on the other side, chances are high that Candace is pregnant and herself unaware of it. Someone give her a pregnancy test, please!
