'The Harder They Fall': Internet hails creators' tribute to Chadwick Boseman

The train is named C.A. Boseman which gave rise to the trivia that it was named after the actor who passed away in 2020

In what comes as the perfect tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman, Netlfix's Western 'The Harder They Fall' garnered accolades on Twitter after naming the train in the movie after the 'Black Panther' star. The movie, based on real cowboys and outlaws of the 19th-century American West follows Nat Love (Idris Elba) gunning for revenge against his age-old enemy Rufus Buck who is fresh out of prison. 

One of the scenes in the movie sees Buck's gang ambush a train on which he is being transported by a bunch of corrupt soldiers, and the train is named C.A. Boseman which gave rise to the trivia that it was named after the actor who passed away in 2020. This was warmly received by audiences who shared their two cents. "Our favorite trivia from #TheHarderTheyFall might be the fact that the train is named after our forever king, Chadwick Aaron Boseman," the tweet read.

Music was phenomenal too especially near the end. 1 of 2," read one of the tweets in response. This was seconded by another that read, "What a befitting tribute to a king. Continue to rest in power and peace, Chadwick Boseman. #WakandaForever."

"I just got goosebumps," wrote one of the fans. Some hadn't noticed it until it was pointed out. "HOW DID NOT KNOW THIS WHILE WATCHING THE MOVIE?!?" a fan remarked. "Just finished watching!!!!! You will definitely not be disappointed!!! Strong Black Cast, and such amazing actors!!!!! Hats off to the King .. Chadwick A. Bozeman," a comment read.

The 43-year-old actor died of cancer on August 28, 2020. The actor's loved ones had posted a message on his official Instagram page: "It is with immeasurable grief that we confirm the passing of Chadwick Boseman.⁣ Chadwick was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer in 2016 and battled with it for 4 years as it progressed to stage IV. ⁣ A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much. From 'Marshall' to 'Da 5 Bloods', August Wilson’s 'Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom' and several more, all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy. It was the honor of his career to bring King T’Challa to life in 'Black Panther'. ⁣He died in his home, with his wife and family by his side. ⁣The family thanks you for your love and prayers, and asks that you continue to respect their privacy during this difficult time."
