'The Good Doctor' gets early renewal for Season 4 and fans can't contain their excitement
‘The Good Doctor’ has been running successfully for three years and counting and in a short span of time, it has managed to garner a fanfare of millions. Despite being a medical drama, the primetime show attracts people from all walks of life, across ages, genders and interests.
From the creators to the cast, everything about the series exudes warmth, making fans go gaga every week. And thus it became ABC's top nighttime show with an average of 15.6 million total viewers and the second-most-watched show on the network.
In fact, ‘The Good Doctor’ has also been recognized as one of the most popular shows of the country this season.
With such popularity, we had expected the series to continue. After all, it's not every day that you get to see an ensemble cast of Freddie Highmore, Christina Chang, Nicholas Gonzales, Richard Schiff and more such brilliant actors on the same platform at the same time.
Finally, our wishes has come true and ABC's hit medical drama series got the nod for a Season 4. ABC has approved an early renewal for 'The Good Doctor' Season 4 and marks the first ABC scripted series renewal this season.
