‘The Good Doctor’ Season 3 Episode 17: Fans want to 'slap' Lea for rejecting Shaun’s feelings
We kind of never saw this coming. Dr Shaun Murphy and Lea Dilallo have been friends for years. But now when he is trying hard to profess his love to his friend, Lea is acting out and behaving out of her elements. It is frustrating for fans to see their beloved doctor (Shaun) get the short end of the stick and they blame it all on Lea’s attitude.
One user on Twitter left a harsh comment. She said, “Leah is garbage. There is no justifying what she said in last weeks episode. If they still end up together I will be reclaiming all of my time #TheGoodDoctor.”
Shaun is really trying hard to tell his friend how he feels. He even broke up with Dr Carly Lever because all his emotions were saved for Lea. And now, as fans see the poor man in distress, they are upset. Here’s another fan on Twitter, who felt that Lea doesn’t recognize what Shaun does for her. He said, “Lea is being an inconsiderate piece of shit lmao, can't even appreciate everything shaun is doing for her #TheGoodDoctor”
After all the years of friendship, being roommates and pouring his heart out to Lea, this is what Shaun gets, infuriating fans, so much so that they want to slap her for her ungratefulness to her friend.
“#TheGoodDoctor I’m about to reach through my screen and slap Lea across her silly ungrateful facePouting face”, said a fan.
Many others felt that the writers are “pushing” Lea and Shaun’s relationship like this particular fan believes. She commented, “Oh my gawwwd!! Why are forced to witness the forcing of Lea and Shaun together...as a couple. Face with monocleNeutral faceThey are good as buds. Pals. Friends. #TheGoodDoctor.”
But looking at how their chemistry is on the downslide, we don’t think Lea and Shaun will be able to remain friends anymore.
