LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'The Golden Wedding' has been full of some awkward moments.

Ellen Goltzer who competed for Gerry Turner's heart on the ABC dating show 'The Golden Bachelor' marked her presence at his wedding to Theresa Nist.

However, the eagle-eyed fans noticed that Goltzer was wearing a pair of earrings gifted to her by her ex Turner on his big day.

Gerry gifted the pair of Neil Lane earrings to Ellen during a date on the show. 

Soon after, the netizens began sharing their stance on Golzter's earrings on social media.

An X user shared, "Ellen wearing the earrings Gerry got her to his wedding to Theresa?? Messy queen lolol."

One user said, "Not Ellen wearing the earrings Gerry gave her on a date to his wedding."

Another user added, "All of these old contestant guests are messy lol."

Another user chimed in, "What's with that eh?  Oh well he didn't pay for it."

Who is Ellen Goltzer from 'The Golden Bachelor'?

For those of you who are unaware, let us share with you, 'The Golden Bachelor' contestant Ellen Goltzer possesses a master’s degree in health education.

During her time in New York, Goltzer worked as a teacher. Since then, she has quit her teaching career and shifted to Florida.

And now, Goltzer pays her focus on her other interests like captaining her pickleball team. 

When we talk about Ellen's personal life, she was previously married to her now ex-husband Alan for a total of 25 years. 

The 71-year-old is a doting mother to her two sons - Jason and Lee. 

As per her ABC bio, she’s “extremely close” with her boys and “loves playing pickleball, golf and card games with them.”

Did Ellen Goltzer almost decline 'The Golden Bachelor'?

Goltzer almost backed out of ABC's show 'The Golden Bachelor', as per a report by E! News.

While making an appearance on a December 22, 2023, episode of 'The Ben & Ashley I Almost Famous' podcast, the retired teacher said, "I never told anybody this. I developed an abscess on my cheek, and it was three weeks before I was supposed to go."

Goltzer added, "It was really like a golf ball." 

She continued, "I knew I wasn't going to go. That's how bad it was."

However, her friends kept her motivated and she appeared on 'The Golden Bachelor.'

Does Ellen Goltzer have any regrets about Gerry Turner?

During an interview with E! News, Goltzer spilled the beans on her journey in ABC's dating series.

The TV personality told the media outlet, "I feel that if you don't give it a chance and tell someone exactly how you're feeling, then you lose your opportunity."

She talked about her bond with Gerry in the show and said, "So, it was my chance to convey those feelings to him. And I have no regrets about that at all."
