LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'The Girls on the Bus' primarily revolves around the intersection of politics and journalism, but the romance between Sadie McCarthy (Melissa Benoist) and Malcolm aka Loafers (Brandon Scott) adds a romantic subplot that influences the overall tone of the series.

Throughout the series, Sadie and Loafers navigate their romance amidst the chaos of their professional lives.

Loafers has always had feelings for Sadie, but initially, Sadie considers their relationship to be casual. However, as time passes, Sadie begins to develop deeper feelings for Loafers, leading to a shift in their dynamic.

Sadie also becomes pregnant with Loafers' child, but decides to have an abortion.

As the finale episode approaches, the question of whether Sadie and Loafers will end up together looms large. Their relationship has been tumultuous, marked by challenges and uncertainties. While they have shared a deep connection, recent events, such as Sadie's decision to have an abortion, have strained their bond.

Let's discuss if Sadie and Loafers will end up together.

In 'The Girls on the Bus' Episode 6, Loafers mustered the courage to express his love for Sadie. His confession deeply affected Sadie, who appeared visibly saddened by the realization that she had hurt Loafers in the past.

It seems that in that moment, Sadie developed deep feelings for Loafers. She began to think about how Loafers had always been there for her.

Later in Episode 6, after their emotional exchange, Loafers went out of his way to assist Sadie in securing an interview with one of Felicity Walker's (Hettienne Park) officials.

This act of kindness and support likely deepened Sadie's feelings for Loafers, as she recognized the sincerity of his feelings.

Given this gesture of kindness, it seems increasingly likely that Sadie and Loafers may end up together in the series finale.

While Sadie never clearly said to Loafers that she loves him, she told Kimberlyn Kendrick (Christina Elmore) that she really likes the father of her baby. She mentioned that she may not want to have a baby now, but she will want one in the future, and she wants it to be with him.

She did not explicitly tell Kimberlyn that the father of her baby is Loafers, but viewers are aware of this information. However, Sadie did tell Kimberlyn about her feelings for the father of her baby.

However, despite her feelings for Loafers, Sadie decided to take abortion pills because she wants to focus on her career.

This turn of events suggests that while Sadie may not be ready to be a mother right now, her desire to be with Loafers indicates that she sees a future with him.

Her decision to focus on her career at this point in her life does not remove her feelings for Loafers or her hopes for their relationship.

In the series finale, Sadie and Loafers may have a heartfelt conversation and decide to start a new relationship. This could be a delightful surprise for fans who have been rooting for them throughout the series.

Loafers is the spokesman for presidential candidate Felicity. When Sadie reads an article at the end of Episode 8, she becomes worried that Felicity might have fired Loafers. This indicates her deepening feelings for him, as she is concerned about his well-being.

In the upcoming episode, this could play a significant role in their relationship as Sadie may begin to offer Loafers the same support he has shown her.

As Sadie grows more worried about Loafers' situation with Felicity, she may find herself unable to hold back her true feelings any longer. This could lead to a pivotal moment where she opens up to Loafers about her emotions, expressing how much he means to her and how deeply she cares for him.

This confession could be a turning point in their relationship, bringing them closer together in the series finale.

Can Sadie and Loafers be ever together? Only time will tell.
