LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'The Girls on the Bus', which follows the lives of four female journalists covering the presidential campaign trail, has created a significant buzz among viewers.

In 'The Girls on the Bus' Episode 2, Sadie McCarthy (Melissa Benoist), a central character, received a mysterious package in her hotel room, sparking intrigue and suspense among viewers.

The package contained a burner phone, but there were no indications of its sender. In Episode 3, an unknown caller, disguising their voice, contacted Sadie through the burner phone.

The caller claimed to have possessed 'critical evidence of widespread wrongdoing' that would engulf Felicity Walker's (Hettienne Park) campaign.

However, after six episodes, there's still no clue about who gave Sadie the burner phone. Let's speculate on who could have given her the burner phone.

Could Felicity Walker have given Sadie McCarthy the burner phone?

Since Episode 2, Felicity has been portrayed as showing a dislike towards Sadie. This resentment stems from Felicity's belief that Sadie played a role in her defeat in the previous election, where Felicity was the frontrunner.

Felicity feels that her loss in the previous election was partly influenced by Sadie's reporting portrayed her. She believes that Sadie's coverage painted her in a negative light, influencing voters' perceptions.

It seems possible that Felicity could be the one behind sending Sadie the burner phone, using it as a tactic to divert attention from herself and her campaign.

This strategy could potentially give Felicity an advantage in the presidential election, ultimately leading to her victory.

Through calls on the burner phone, Felicity may have fed Sadie false information to distract her and prevent her from writing any articles that could be detrimental to Felicity's campaign.

The caller on the burner phone informed Sadie to investigate Felicity's super PAC. However, this information may be false, and Felicity may have deliberately misled Sadie. In reality, there might be nothing wrong with Felicity's super PAC.

Is Malcolm the mastermind behind the burner phone calls?

Malcolm (Brandon Scott), a spokesperson for Felicity, is in love with Sadie. Despite his professional allegiance to Felicity, Malcolm's affection for Sadie shines through as he tries to help her whenever possible.

It's possible that Malcolm could be the one who calls Sadie to provide insider information about Felicity's campaign.

As a spokesperson for Felicity, Malcolm may not be able to share sensitive information directly. However, he could indirectly leak information to Sadie by using a burner phone and maintaining anonymity.

Given his affection for Sadie, Malcolm might employ this strategy to support her career. He could be the mysterious caller who anonymously reaches out to Sadie to provide information about Felicity's Super PAC.

In Episode 6, Sadie begins her investigation by exploring potential links between Felicity's donors and former staff members.

Sadie's efforts led her to discover that Missy Monroe, a videographer Felicity had fired, had received a scholarship from a non-profit organization where Felicity held a position on the board of directors.

Dale emerges as a potential suspect in the burner phone mystery

Dale (Cole Escola), Sadie's colleague, could also be the one who sent her the burner phone, perhaps aiming to distract her with insignificant matters.

Dale's jealousy towards Sadie, driven by their editor's preference for Sadie, could motivate him to provide Sadie with the burner phone and potentially false information. His aim might be to divert her attention from more critical stories concerning Felicity's campaign.

His decision to disclose Sadie and Malcolm's relationship to Bruce Turner (Griffin Dunne) showcases a pattern of behavior indicating his willingness to harm Sadie.

Let's wait to find out the true identity of the person who sent Sadie the burner phone.
