The published articles on this story send shockwaves through Felicity's campaign, given her status as a leading presidential contender. Any scandal or controversy has the potential to significantly undermine her chances of winning the presidential election.

Meanwhile, Sadie encounters a difficult situation due to Missouri's abortion ban, which forces her to travel to Illinois to obtain abortion pills.

Kimberlyn Kendrick (Christina Elmore) takes Sadie to Illinois to get the abortion pill, but they face a setback when the medical shop where the pills were supposed to be delivered is closed.

The next day, Sadie successfully obtains the pills from the shop, and they make the journey back to Missouri. In the last scene of Episode 8, viewers witness a pivotal moment as Sadie takes the abortion pill.

In the last scene of Episode 8, Hayden Wells Garrett (Scott Foley), another presidential candidate, makes a phone call discussing Felicity and Sadie. This suggests that Hayden might be the person who actually sent Sadie the burner phone.

Hayden could also provide false information about Felicity to Sadie in order to gain an advantage in the election. If this scenario proves true, Sadie may encounter substantial career challenges.
