HALSTEAD, ENGLAND: The latest Netflix series, 'The Gentlemen,' is a spin-off of the 2019 film of the same name and depicts an intriguing narrative of familial ties against the backdrop of crime.

Created by Guy Ritchie, the gripping eight-part series unfolds the narrative of resilient Susie Glass (Kaya Scodelario). She manages a marijuana farm situated on one of Eddie Horniman's (Theo James) recently inherited properties.

The daughter of the famous Bobby Glass, Susie, is a formidable woman who possesses the ability to manipulate circumstances to her advantage. She takes Eddie to a dairy farm and explains the shady operations taking place there.

She discloses that the farm is a front for their enormous underground cannabis-producing facility. She further explains that the Horniman family receives a substantial monthly share of profits from the company.

Aware of the fact that Eddie might sell the property, which would negatively affect her business, she chooses to assist him in paying off Freddy Horniman's (Daniel Ings) debt in exchange for him not selling the farm.

To negotiate the terms of the debt, Susie takes a direct approach and seeks out Tommy Dixon (Peter Serafinowicz). Upon disclosing her identity as Bobby Glass' daughter, the gangster ultimately chooses to entertain her.

Tommy finally concedes to accepting just four million pounds and waives the remaining sum after considerable convincing.

However, he does provide a colorful condition in which Freddy apologizes to him while dressing in a costume, and he must tape it to his delight.

Although the man's condition is absurd, Susie complies with it because he waived a significant amount of the loan.

'The Gentlemen' is now streaming on Netflix.
