Kaley Cuoco to star in HBO's 'The Flight Attendant', a look at her relationships before husband Karl Cook
Kaley Cuoco who has made a name in the comedy genre of entertainment is now set to start in HBO Max drama mystery 'The Flight Attendant' and fans of hers are waiting in anticipation. If you're wondering if Cuoco is a co-lead in the series, then we'd have to say kind of. She ends up with a dead body next to her after a drunken night in Bangkok, so the guy may not be in many scenes.
Cuoco has made quite a name for herself in the past years and is especially known for her role as Penny in the hit series 'The Big Bang Theory'. Besides her accomplishments in the entertainment industry, the spotlight has also shone on the actress's love life. Before Cuoco married her now-husband, Karl Cook, in 2018, she had been in a few relationships and a marriage. Here is a look back at her relationships in the past years.
When talking about on-screen chemistry, fans couldn't help but gush about Leonard's (Johnny Galecki) and Penny's on-screen relationship on The Big Bang Theory'. As many know, fans were even more delighted to find out that Cuoco and Galecki dated off-screen as well starting in 2007 after their series had premiered. Most people didn't know at the time, because the couple was low-key about their romance, and it wasn't until two years later when the duo had broken up that the outside world found out they were in a relationship. Both were extremely professional though, as they continued to work together on the series with no known scandals until it ended in 2019. Some reports even state that the duo are "good friends."
But Cuoco's dating life continued even after Galecki as she started to date Los Angeles addiction specialist Josh Resnik, to whom she ended up getting engaged in October 2011. Unfortunately, when all seemed well for the couple, they had broken up a few months later in March 2012, with the actress revealing that the engagement was off. When asked by Entertainment Tonight about ideas of her own wedding in March, Cuoco said "'m not engaged anymore, so no. But in general, yes. For my future wedding, yes!" The actress stuck to her low-key attitude when it came to her personal life and didn't reveal why she wasn't marrying Resnik.
The following year, in the summer of 2013, Cuoco dated her first husband, tennis player Ryan Sweeting. The couple got engaged in September of that year, after only three months of dating -- they got married on December 31, 2013. Unfortatuenly, what seemed to be a sweeping romance came to an end when Sweeting and Cuoco filed for divorce in September 2015, two years after they'd got married. In an interview with Cosmopolitan years later, Cuoco revealed that her ex-husband had "completely changed" after their wedding. “I honestly thought I wouldn’t get married again. My ex ruined that word for me. I married someone the first time who completely changed. The person I ended up with was not the person I originally met," she had said.
But, all is good that ends well because it seems that Cuoco has met her perfect match in now-husband, Karl Cook. The duo first began dating in 2016 and got engaged a year later in November 2017 -- they married the next year on June 30, 2018. For a while their busy schedules had them living in separate homes, but they have been living together now with the couple posting their happiness on social media. Cuoco posted an adorable picture of her husband kissing her on the cheek, captioning it "HOME"
The first three episodes of 'The Flight Attendant' premieres on HBO Max Thursday, November 26, followed by the launch of two new episodes on December 3, two episodes on December 10, and the finale episode on December 17.
