'The Courtship': Dr. Jarrett tells Ms. Remy 'You're making a mistake' and leaves

The ever so glamourous show on NBC, 'The Courtship' has seriously upped the game in the dating genre of reality television. The 80's themed dating game setup? Hell yes!
In the very first episode of the NBC reality dating show, everything rests on the lady of the hour, Ms. Nicole Remy. It is up to her to decide from a sea of 16 prospective suitors. One among the many gentlemen is Jarrett Schanzer, a respected doctor, who flexed his occupation while trying to win Remy's heart. But did he have what it takes?

If you happen to have a preconceived notion that doctors are smooth with their flirting game, you couldn't be more wrong, at least in Jarrett's case. His A game involved swooshing an apple in front of Remy, saying, "An apple a day keeps the doctor away", and tells her he'll throw the apple if she wants to be with him. Good one, Jarrett.
The last leg of the first episode involved an elimination round as well. From a total of 16 men, 6 suitors got the chance to dance with Remy. Those few minutes were all they had to change her mind. Those who couldn't, had their carriages waiting at the door. After everything was said and done, 3 were sent home from the 6 suitors in the danger zone.
One among those 6 in the first episode was none other than the cocky Jarrett. He went ten steps ahead of the show in its entirety! During the dance, he pulled out a rose quartz necklace for Remy and told her that wearing it close to her heart would help her making an "informed decision."
But Remy genuinely hadn't felt a connection to Jarrett since their first encounter. So she told him what she thought in all honesty, but not before sincerely appreciating his kind gesture. This moment in particular was hard to watch without cringing. Jarrett comes off as rather desperate, trying to persuade Remy despite being rejected. Before storming out, he tells her, "I think you're making a big mistake".
'The Courtship' premiered on Sunday, March 6 at 8 pm ET/PT, on NBC
