Each episode of FOX's crime drama thriller 'The Cleaning Lady' raises the stakes for Thony as she desperately tries to save her severely sick son from dying making for an exciting watch each week. Here's what to expect from the eighth episode.
The official synopsis for 'The Cleaning Lady' Episode 8 reads: Thony enlists Arman's help to get to Mexico for Luca's transplant, but plans go dangerously off course when Hayak finds out Arman is lying to him; Thony finds herself in a desperate situation, forcing her to call upon the former doctor.

Previously in the seventh episode, we saw Thony De La Rosa's( Elodie Yung) irresponsible gambler husband Marco (Ivan Shaw) steal the massive amount of $20,000 which we saw him put at stake in the casino. And it seems like Thony found out about his shameless deed as she berates him for his actions. The man with a supposed plan is shown being thrown out and beaten up with his wife making it very clear that she does not trust him anymore. Unsurprisingly, we know who she turns to for help, and yes, it's Arman Morales (Adan Canto).
Informing him about the only option she has, she tells him of a hospital in Mexico that will do Luca's surgery. But she needs money which the man will gladly cover for her. But part of the reason is his feelings for her which his wife Nadia (Eva De Dominici) finally confronts him about. Calling him out for his 'generosity' she points out that he is only doing it because of how he feels when Thony needs him rather than out of the goodness of his heart. And well, she's not wrong as we later see him lean in to kiss Thony. The two who had previously also locked lips don't seem to be stopping these trysts anytime soon.
The good news in store is that Thony and her family along with Arman safely reach the transplant center in Mexico. But what follows is the worst-case scenario, with the doctor telling Thony that Luca's surgery has been postponed. The young child's life which is already on the line is more at risk with the possibility of him dying being very high. That's when we see Thony literally take matters into her own hands by deciding to operate on Luca herself. But the former doctor hasn't had much medical practice in a while which raises the danger level. Will Thony be able to save her son? Will the surgery be a success?
