The FOX show stars Elodie Yung as the protagonist and fans of Marvel will recognize her as Elektra Natchios from Netflix's 'Daredevil'. FOX's new show had an exciting premiere tonight and things are off to a good start. We met Thony De La Rosa (Elodie Yung), a mother who is struggling to make ends meet while she tries to secure medical treatment for her son who is suffering from a rare immunodeficiency disorder and urgently needs a bone marrow donor. Although an excellent doctor back in Cambodia, her status as an illegal immigrant has her working as a cleaning lady. The premiere went straight in and plunged her into the middle of a crime. After witnessing a murder she offers to clean the crime scene in order to survive. But the mobster liked her work and recruits her.

The pilot had many interesting scenes like the cleaning up of blood which fizzed when treated with sodium peroxide to her narrowly cheating death and surviving a bomb blast only to calmly treat her boss's injuries. With such a strong start, fans were more than happy and took to Twitter to praise the FOX show. Here are some of the praises they sang.

A fan commented, "Yup, I’m hooked. And I’m shipper trash. #TheCleaningLady", while another said, "The crime scene plot was my fav, hooked me in! #TheCleaningLady". A tweet read, "#TheCleaningLady is definitely on my watchlist every Monday night!".

Another fan said, "Really good Series Premiere!! I'm hooked!!
