All the fans of 'The Cleaning Lady' will be happy to know that FOX has shown green signals for the TV series. The series will be the perfect combination of mystery, suspense and horror.

'The Cleaning Lady' revolves around Thony (Elodie Yung), a Cambodian doctor, who travels from the US to the Phillippines, searching for the best medical facilities for her ailing son. However, the journey was not as easy as she faced many challenges and problems while searching for medical aid. Unfortunately, she witnesses a murder, and for staying alive, she perfectly cleans the crime scene. The challenges increased after witnessing murder as she had to play a double role in her life, one of a crime syndicate and the other of a mom doing everything necessary to save her son.

What is 'The Cleaning Lady' all about?

The official synopsis reads, "THE CLEANING LADY is a thrilling and emotionally-driven character drama about a whip-smart Cambodian doctor who comes to the U.S. for a medical treatment to save her ailing son. However, when the system fails and pushes her into hiding, she refuses to be beaten down and marginalized. Instead, she becomes a cleaning lady for organized crime, using her cunning and intelligence to forge her own path in the criminal underworld."

The Cleaning Lady will be starring Elodie Yung, Adan Canto, Eva De Dominici, Vincent Piazza, Ivo Nandi, Joseph Garcia, Nicole Butler, and Sebastien LaSalle.

The French actress enjoys popularity for her role as Elektra Natchios in Season 2 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe Netflix series 'Daredevil' and 'The Defenders', a Netflix miniseries. The actress pursued her law degree at the University of Paris as she was interested in becoming a judge. But Later on, the actress pursued acting at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. In the year 2004, she made her debut film as female lead Tsu in 'Les fils du vent and played the role of Gand Lord Tao in 'District 13: Ultimatum.'
