The holidays are just around the corner, which means that people have already started to plan how they are going to enjoy the season of Christmas with their loved ones. One of the things that people love to do during the holiday season is to sit on their couches and watch Christmas movies while sipping hot coffee.

It seems Netflix has made all the arrangements for people to celebrate the festive season with their favorite movies. The streaming giant is set to take everyone on a magical journey with the upcoming movie ‘The Claus Family 2’. Yes, the second part is already here. The first movie, ‘The Claus Family’, turned out to be a huge hit for the streaming platform and the makers did not want the viewers to wait for the sequel. So, they decided to come out with the second part exactly a year after the original release on Netflix.

The movie joins the list of Netflix Christmas movies like ‘A Boy Called Christmas’ and ‘A Castle for Christmas’ that have managed to captivate the minds of the people. The makers of ‘The Claus Family 2’ will also be hoping to get a lot of success with the second part as well. Here’s everything we know about the upcoming Christmas movie.

When does ‘The Claus Family 2’ release and where can you watch it

‘The Claus Family 2’ will be premiering exclusively on Netflix on Tuesday, December 7, 2021. According to the Netflix press site, the upcoming Christmas film will be airing on the streaming service at 3:01 am EST. Viewers can download the Netflix app from Google Play Store and Apple’s App Store to watch the movie. The first edition is currently available for streaming on Netflix.

What is ‘The Claus Family 2’ all about

The official synopsis reads, “Jules Claus has embraced Christmas again and is getting ready for the busiest time of the year together with grandpa Noël. Everything seems to go according to plan until Jules receives a very special letter with an intriguing question. ‘The Claus Family 2’ is a cozy film for the entire family to enjoy, starring some incredible Dutch and Flemish talent.”

Who stars in the Netflix Christmas movie

All the original cast members are returning for the second part, so get ready for another amazing journey. Mo Bakker will be returning to portray the role of Jules Claus while Bracha van Doesburgh will once again be playing Suzanne in the second part.

Bracha van Doesburgh

Doesburgh studied theatre in Amsterdam and began acting in 2004. She received her first major acting role in 2005 with the movie ‘Too Fat Too Furious’. Since then, the actress has made appearances in a wide range of Dutch ventures. The actress has received three Golden Film accolades at the Golden and Platin Film Awards in The Netherlands.

‘The Neighbors’, ‘Lovin’ Amsterdam’, and ‘All You Need is Love’ are some of the projects she has appeared in.



 

Other actors featured in the movie include Jan Decleir (Noel Claus), Eva van der Gucht (Gunna), Carly Wijs (Jentien) and Stefaan Degand (Holger). 

Creators

The sequel will be helmed and penned by Ruben Vandenborre. He also wrote the first part of the flick. On the other hand, Anthony Van Biervliet serves as a producer in the movie.
