'The Challenge': Did Aneesa Ferreira choke Olympian Lolo Jones during task? Fans say they've seen 'dirtier moves'

Fans seem convinced that Aneesa choked Lolo but the latter should not be using it as an excuse for her loss in the task

Lolo Jones has been vying for the gold skull — the ticket to the finale — but coming in the way is her partner Nam Vo's laidback approach. He seems certain that they will be saved by their friends, but she insists they focus on winning daily challenges. And they did. But the results were not what they thought they would be. 

A new day, a new challenge. Host TJ Lavin announced that the agents will be put through a string of tasks as part of the "All Brawl" challenge. Random teams will be assigned. The first team that went searching for a relic in a cold mud pit had Lolo, Aneesa Ferreira, Nany Gonzalez, Kam Williams and Tula "Big T" Fazakerley in it. While everyone got down to business, Nany emerged, literally and figurately, to become the first one to find the relic but she was not very silent about the treasure.

Her enthusiasm drew everyone's attention, including the "four angry girls" who jumped on her, and the next thing we know, Lolo has it. But from the word go, we knew it wasn't going to be your run-of-the-mill task and there was going to be a lot of wrestle and fight, which was exactly what happened when Lolo tried to escape the pit with the relic. Aneesa tackled her, which prompted her to throw away the relic only to be caught by Kam, who won it fair and square. 

Lolo was not just upset that she had lost a task but the fact that Aneesa "choked" her. Fans have weighed in with their two cents and believe that it was Lolo's "sore loser" self speaking when she accused Aneesa of getting physically violent. Some have said it shouldn't have come from Lolo given that she is an Olympian. She has competed for the USA as a track and field athlete and also a bobsledder. The agent has also been a part of the 2008 and 2012 summer Olympics. 

"This challenge is... yuck. Kudos to Kam for killin it. Umm.. is Lolo a sore loser or did Aneesa reeeeally choke the wind out of her?! Talk about throwing a temper tantrum bruh," a fan commented while another shared: "Did Aneesa kinda choke Lolo? Yeah. However, if she was mad about it, then you choke Aneesa back during the challenge. You don't whine about it after the fact. It makes you look like a sore loser. Welcome to the Challenge."

"Omg Lolo obviously has never watched old seasons of the challenge. This 'choke' wasn’t that serious at all. We’ve seen WAY dirtier moves #TheChallenge36," a fan tweeted in support of the veteran.
