Who is Demetrius 'Mechie' Harris? Meet 'The Challenge' agent who filmed sex tape with Blac Chyna and dated Amber M
'The Challenge: Double Agents' is pretty much a breeding ground for relationships. Over the years, there have been contestants who left the show having found true love, while others, heartbroken. Amber Martinez and Demetrius 'Mechie' Harris dated during the filming of Season 36, the Cheatsheet reported. Apparently, them seeing each other affected Mechie's equation with his partner Olivia 'Liv' Jawando.
Was there a love triangle involved? We'll not know. But from what Amber revealed in one of her Instagram videos, it is clear that Liv was not OK with Mechie kissing Amber. "I guess he’s told [Liv] before that he liked her, and the fact he said that in front of everybody, she got upset and she threw the water on him,” Amber explained the time when Liv threw water on Mechie. Liv even poured a boatload of shampoo on Mechie's bed, but their fight was never aired. It could be because there were bigger storylines that were playing out on the show. For instance, Fessy Shafaat and Tori Deal's relationship track, which has become quite the talk on the show and naturally, because she was engaged to Jordan Wiseley at that point.
Mechie has so far been quiet and taking it easy on the show, quite opposite from what his explosive personal life has been ever since he kickstarted a whirlwind of a romance with model-entrepreneur Blac Chyna. The couple split shortly prior to when their leaked sex tape news went viral, which was filmed by Mechie, TMZ reported. In 2018, his representative confirmed that Mechie recorded it using Blac's phone. However, they were both equally angry about the leak, but her lawyer went on to label it as "revenge porn."
'The Challenge' contestant is a rookie on the show. His claim to fame was an appearance on the hit series 'Ex On The Beach'. He's 27 years old and a Washington DC boy, who, when not competing on reality shows, raps and sings. He has been a part of a group 4EY The Future.
