LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'The Valley' star Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor have recently parted ways after being married for around five years. The Bravo show's ex-couple's split sparked multiple speculations including, cheating. However, Brittany recently set the record straight and revealed the real reason behind their break-up.

During a recent interview with Bravo's 'The Daily Dish', Brittany addressed her relationship and separation from Jax. Brittany also confirmed that there was no cheating. The Bravo star claimed, "We just had our issues with fighting with each other. There wasn't any infidelity."

She elaborated, "I know that’s been a rumor going around. It wasn't anything like that." Brittany further explained that her son needed a happy home which was one of the many reasons for the split. The Bravo star further elaborated, "It was just not a happy feeling, and I was like, losing my sparkle a little bit. I started to notice that, and I think after I had my son, I woke up a little bit and it made me realize like he can't grow up in this environment."

Brittany Cartwright calls Jax Taylor 'not a great husband'

Bravo star Brittany Cartwright has recently claimed that Jax Taylor is a good father but not a good husband. During the Bravo interview, Brittany said, "He's just not the best partner right now, and if, you know, if he works on some things, maybe in the future, we could get back together."

The Bravo star continued, "I'm not really sure about that situation yet, but for right now, the space is much needed for both of us. I'm just glad that I had the strength to finally take myself out of that situation cause I didn't think I would ever, ever, ever leave him."

'The Valley' ex-couple Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor lived together for some time after their split. However, Brittany later decided to move out of their shared house. Jax recently shared about the duo's living arrangement and claimed they stayed in contact just for their son.

During Jax and Brittany's 'When Reality Hits' podcast, he referred to their shared San Fernando Valley home and explained, "I know I said we would never, ever leave each other, but it got to the point where she had to go." He added, "Everyone's like, 'Well, how come you didn't leave?'"

Jax elaborated, "I'm like, well, yeah, I pay the mortgage on my home now. I couldn't pay the mortgage and, I don't know, [for] two places. I can't afford that. I can't afford a mortgage and an apartment."

'Vanderpump Rules' alum Jax Taylor was spotted grabbing lunch with model Paige Woolen soon after his split with Brittany Cartwright. The duo sparked dating speculations which were doubled when Paige announced during her birthday party, "I'm pregnant."

However, Jax recently took to X (formerly Twitter) and debuted dating speculations. He wrote, "I am not dating anyone." He added, "And I wish you all knew the full story of this situation.. it's not what you think."
