SHELBY TOWNSHIP, MICHIGAN: 'Vanderpump Rules' spinoff show 'The Valley' star Brittany Cartwright recently announced a temporary separation from her husband Jax Taylor. Although the Bravo show couple's split rumours have been circulating for a while now, the latest announcement forced fans to speculate if the reports were actually true. Brittany dropped the separation news just in time for the Bravo show spinoff, 'The Valley' release and fans dubbed the step a 'PR stunt'.

In the recent episode of Brittany and Jex's podcast 'When Reality Hits', the Bravo star shared, "Many of you guys have been asking me about Jax and I and our relationship." She then thought that it was important to be 'real and honest' with their fans "because our life is definitely we’ve shared so much of our life with you guys." She claimed that she had "alluded to many marriages go through rocky times on her podcast."

She elaborated, "Yes, marriages in general are very hard and I've had a particularly rough year this past year. Jax and I are taking time apart and I made the decision to move into another home to take some space for the sake of my mental health." The reality star also noted how she didn't want to share specific details about the matter, but claimed said breakup is "still very hard to talk about."

The Bravolebrity further shared, "I'm taking one day at a time." Brittany added, "I don’t know what the future holds, but right now my focus is on being the best mom to Cruz and I love you guys. Pray for us and everything will be just fine. We’re good." Meanwhile, multiple critics slammed the Bravo show couple and noted in the comments, "This is just to get us to watch the valley. I don’t buy it Brittany!!"

Another person added,  "It’s all for ratings! She would not leave him. He’s done so many shitty things over the years that she would have left by now." Another critic noted, "Hmmm what perfect timing for this news to drop." Another internet user penned, "No it means they are desperate for us to watch it and have nothing else to do."

Another Instagram user wrote, "Nope. This stunt still doesn't make that show hyped up enough." Another follower claimed, "This is fake. It’s all a publicity stunt. The dude has cheated multiple times and she stayed. Use your heads." Another critic said, "It's a PR Stunt, their new Valley Show is coming on they need all the publicity they can get!"
