According to Futon Critic, 'The Blacklist' Season 8 returns with Epsidoe 11 in another short week on Friday, March 26, at its usual 8 pm time slot only on NBC. The delay is most likely because of the NCAA tournament which is slated to air soon and it won't benefit NBC much to air these episodes at such a busy air time. It could also be the possible lack of episodes filmed in advance given the Covid-19 guidelines for production.
But we're thrilled the wait is just one week longer than usual and not a full two months when it went off air after airing just the first two episodes of this season. When the show returns with the next episode 'Captain Kidd', the synopsis reveals: “The Task Force attempts to stop an abduction by searching for a treasure man. He is the one who uses geocaching to hide illicit goods and facilitate transactions between otherwise warring criminal factions.”
While it's uncertain whether Red is selling secrets or not, he is most certainly going to ask Cooper to back off and let go of his business. And should Cooper not comply, there's a high chance Red might actually tries to eliminate him. We know nothing is beyond Red's capability, but now that Liz is making contact with the other man and not him, there is all the more reason for the crack in his and Cooper's relationship to amplify.
