Various fans have taken to X to express their frustration over the Emmy nominations for 'The Bear' in the comedy category.

Regarding Jamie Lee Curtis being nominated for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series at the 76th Emmys for her performance in 'The Bear' a fan said, "Her character being nominated for comedy is the only comedic thing." While another fan said, "undeserved."

A fan wrote, "I like the TV show TheBear, but I don't understand how it is in the comedy category for the Emmys." Another fan wrote, "I still don’t understand how and why The Bear is in the comedy category for the Emmy’s."

One person wrote, "I couldn't even make it 4 episodes into the second season of The Bear. How tf does it have so many Emmy nominations? It isn't very good, I know I can't be this crazy...."

Another person echoed the similar sentiment saying, "I love The Bear, but I still don't understand why it's in the comedy category at the Emmys."

Another fan expressed annoyance, saying, "I bet if showed up in the bear I would also get an emmy nomination."

A fan said, "The Bear is a comedy? I watched three episodes last night… enjoyed the hell out of it…but I don’t remember laughing at all. Not even once. Are the Emmy’s living in the same universe where Trump is good for America? More things I don’t understand."

Another fan angrily said, "I know there's not a lot going on in the world now so we're all bored but we don't need to resort to splitting hairs about Emmy categories. Let The Bear be a comedy and let the worst awards show on earth (stiff competition!) continue to celebrate mediocrity while no one watches." While another wrote, "TheBear is comedy?"
