'The Bachelorette' Season 18: Single dad Mollique Johnson is a 'hopeless romantic'
Being a single parent is far from easy. Other than having to provide for a child, it often leaves the parent with little to no time for themselves, let alone a love life. But love often finds a way, even in the most unlikely circumstances. And for Mollique Johnson, a single dad on Michelle Young's season of 'The Bachelorette', he's on the show hoping that she is the one.
Season 18 started with a bang, from Ryan Fox's playbook chaos to Joe Coleman's DM drama and by the looks of it, the whole season will see some more conflict takes place. And while some participants are going head to head, others are more preoccupied trying to win Michelle's heart. Among the latter is Mollique Johnson.

Who is Mollique Johnson?
Mollique Johnson or Mollique, as he is known on 'The Bachelorette' Season 18 is a 36-year-old Academic Administrator from San Diego, California.
As per his ABC bio -- "Mollique is a hopeless romantic who is SO ready to find his person. Raised by women all around him, he describes himself as a domesticated renaissance man who believes wholeheartedly in the power of love and family. He is looking for a woman of quality – someone with morals who is selfless, patient, and well-mannered. Mollique has an 8-year-old son who is the best gift of love that he has ever received. From his son, he has learned what true unconditional love is and is ready to share that with the love of his life." Mollique wasn't kidding when he said he was a romantic, seeing that his favorite author is Nicholas Sparks. When it comes to his dislike, he is not a fan of frogs.
He and Michelle are in a similar line of work
Michelle is a teacher who is passionate about what she does and turns out, so is Mollique, seeing that he is an Academic Administrator. He is currently the Assistant Director of Operations for the Associated Students, San Diego State University. Prior to this, he was the Operations Coordinator for the San Diego State University. He has also worked as the Manager of Student Engagement and the Student Affairs Coordinator at Alliant International University.
