'The Bachelorette' Season 18: Who is Alec Thompson? Model set to win Michelle's heart

It's hard not to think of Season 18's Michelle Young that way -- the teacher managed to win fans over in a heartbeat when she was on Matt James' season, and now, fans can't help but root for her future fairytale romance.

Who is Alec Thompson?
Alec Thompson is a 29-year-old engineer from North Charleston, South Carolina. As per News and Advance, Thompson went to Brookville High School and attended and played football at Virginia Military Institute from 2010-14. On a personal note, he loves to read GQ Magazine, is not a fan of bowling dates and his favorite thing to eat for breakfast is cottage cheese.

After his first marriage ended, Alec learned a lot about the value of commitment and what it takes to truly make love last, so he is not here to waste anyone's time. He is dependable, emotionally intelligent, and values integrity above all else. Alec is hoping to find a woman who appreciates how much his career means to him but will also make him want to be sentimental and bring out the fun side of him. He is a true believer in that old-school, head-over-heels unconditional type of love and is ready to find that with the beautiful Michelle."
