Season 19 of ABC's 'The Bachelorette' follows Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey on their quest for love. However, the most recent episode, which aired on August 8, had fans questioning why Rachel would continually cancel her group dates and then complain about not connecting with the men.

This season, with a completely new format, both ladies showed an early interest in participant Logan Palmer, while Rachel was the first to give Logan a rose. Logan was interested in dating Rachel, but now he can't keep his mind off Gabby. In the most recent episode, Rachel cancels her group date since Logan revealed his true emotions for Gabby to her. Fans were already upset by the cancellation of so many activities (group dates, cocktail parties, and rose ceremonies) this season; now they don't understand why Rachel would keep canceling her group dates when she has yet to get to know the men.

Episode 5 of 'The Bachelorette' Season 19 has been a Logan Palmer show. Logan stated at the end of episode 4 that he still wants to get to know Gabby Windey after accepting Rachel Recchia's rose. Logan revealed the truth to both Rachel and Gabby in the new episode. Logan tells Rachel before the group date, "I still have feelings for Gabby."

Rachel Recchia has already been rejected many times this season. Given Logan's disclosure to her, she seemed upset by his rejection. After Logan dropped the bomb on Rachel that he hopes to reconnect with Gabby, she spoke to host Jesse Palmer and share how she was feeling. “I feel like I’m just getting dealt really bad cards,” she says, her eyes welling up with tears. “Like, pretty much in a row. So, it’s hard to keep having momentum.”

Jesse assures her that she can't be the "perfect Bachelorette," and that there are no rules to the show. Rachel cancels the group date with the boys in light of recent occurrences. Jesse meets with Ethan, Tyler, Zach, and James "Meatball" to break the bad news. Aven, on the other hand, was granted the one-on-one date in Week 5. “I did have to come here and tell you that, unfortunately, Rachel has decided to cancel today’s date,” Jesse says.

Some social media users believe Rachel should not cancel her dates. Most viewers blame Rachel for canceling group date given as they think: "Let’s see, limited time with the guys, constantly canceling cocktail parties losing time with the guys or finding out what they think, then, you choose teams?Like it or lump it? And your disappointed?Oh yea, cancel the group date too. Brilliant! #TheBachelorette #TheBachelorettes." Another fan wrote how Rachel's chance of landing with someone would get slimmer if she continues to cancelling group dates: "

One other Twitter user wrote: "Rachel keeps talking about how unfair it is to all these guys but yet she’s the one who keeps canceling all her dates??? Like how are you going to find the man that actually loves YOU if you keep ruining their time over men you’re clearly not meant to be with #TheBachelorettes." Labeling Rachel's act as a selfish one, a fan wrote: "Rachel cancelling the group date felt pretty selfish to me #TheBachelorette." Fans feel Rachel is missing out on the opportunity of being with men who are actually interested in her by cancelling group dates: "Why would you cancel a group date filled with men that are obsessing over you? I know it’s stressful but you have so many reasons to be happy… it’s right in front of you SMH @BacheloretteABC

Fans also felt Rachel cancelling the group date and Gabby welcoming Logan to her team is pulling the show down. One user said, "Rachel cancelling the group date and Gabby adding a mediocre man to her side…these men are about to stage a walk out #TheBachelorette #bachelorette." Calling out Logan for his stunt in the latest episode, a fan wrote: "Logan saying that the group date with Rachel being canceled is "concerning" - I mean, he set that into motion and is also causing issues amongst Gabby's guys #TheBachelorette." Another tweet read: "Logan really said "I'm sorry the group date got cancelled but I think you guys understand my intentions" SHUT UP! STOP TALKING!! #TheBachelorette #bachelorette." A fan tweeted how the show host Jesse Palmer is of no help when it comes to events getting cancelled: "@JessePalmerTV anytime there is a cocktail party or group date #thebachelorette."
