'The Bachelorette' 2022: Fans say Johnny needs a 'therapist', crown Gabby 'mental health queen'
As 'The Bachelorette' progresses, it looks like Rachel and Gabby and making some real connections with the men on their teams. And while the show has its fair share of chaos, there seems to be a decent amount of honest and real connections that are also being made.
For Gabby's one on one date, she decided to spend the day with Johnny. So far, Johnny hasn't made much of a mark, but this date certainly changed opinions across the board.

The pair had a fun beer tasting and spa day, where they both seemed to enjoy themselves, as they got goofy and had a good time in general. But shenanigans aside, when it came down to having a real conversation, Johnny opened up about how he struggled with being himself and that self-confidence was a major issue with him.
Fans weren't sure of what to make of Johnny, seeing that some felt as though he had red flags, while others praised him for being honest, open and vulnerable about men's mental health issues on national tv. "I hope I'm wrong because he seems nice, but Johnny's "I started being myself and my girlfriend just disappeared and I don't know why" has major 🚩🚩🚩 vibes for me. Like a "bitches be crazy" excuse. #TheBachelorette" tweeted a fan. "Johnny should see a therapist & also open his mouth when he speaks #bachelorette #TheBachelorette" said another. "ok, well now I feel bad. he was being vulnerable and expressing how he lacks confidence. sorry johnny, you go johnny. #bachelorette #TheBachelorette" added another. "Johnny discussing mens’ mental health on national tv is EVERYTHING. Good job, @ABCNetwork and #TheBachelorette"
