'The Bachelor' Season 26: Fans demand justice for Genevieve after unethical group date
For Clayton, the pressure is certainly starting to pile on, as the next rose ceremony determines his fate, seeing that only four women will enter hometowns. With Clayton meeting their families, it certainly means that it is crunch time when it comes to him making his final choice.
With seven women left, Clayton picked Sarah, Teddi, Genevieve, Rachel and Gabby to go on a group date. And one thing is for sure, this date was the weirdest one yet.

Clayton had the ladies go through a psycho-analysis session, expecting each one of them to open up. While most of the women were able to, Genevieve genuinely seemed to struggle, as she had he guard up. Clayton later addressed the issue with her, with both of them agreeing that they haven't spent that much time together and their bond wasn't nearly as strong as the others. Clayton decided it was time to ask her to leave, leading to her elimination. Fans were exasperated with the entire situation.
"I’m sorry she went home because she didn’t want to talk and open up on national tv Clayton??? That’s a dick move in my opinion #TheBachelor" tweeted a fan. "Why should she open up on tv for this ass who has given her nothing? Good for staying true to you Genevieve. Keep your private inside life #TheBachelor" tweeted a fan. "#TheBachelor justice for Genevieve. That was such a toxic moment, especially after her feeling extremely uncomfortable to begin with. Messed up." said a fan. "Clayton when he's told multiple times about Shanae terrorizing the house: *gives her a rose* Clayton when Genevieve refuses to open up to a stranger: #thebachelor" noted another. "Now Genevieve is sobbing in a car bc you can’t divide your time with women properly ffs #TheBachelor" added a fan.

Other fans called out producers for planning a date like these, claiming that it was unethical, among other things. "It's hard enough opening up in therapy, but it's extra hard opening up in a surprise therapy session being filmed for millions of people. Genevieve deserved better. #TheBachelor" tweeted a fan. "this group date is ridiculous, the producers should be ashamed of themselves honestly #TheBachelor" added another. "What the f*ck is this date?????? Manipulative, traumatizing, unethical????? #TheBachelor" asked a fan.
