'The Bachelor': Latto welcomes Tahzjuan to judge group date as contestants get jealous of show's alum
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Tahzjuan Hawkins, who appears in the preview for the upcoming episode of 'The Bachelor,' is one of the familiar faces. Tahzuan has already been featured in the 'Bachelor' series, and the preview suggests that she is now interested in pursuing Zach Shallcross.
Tahzjuan was originally featured on Bachelor Nation as a contestant on Colton Underwood's season of 'The Bachelor.' Tahzjuan's stint on the show was brief, as she was taken home during Week 1. On 'Bachelor in Paradise' Seasons 6 and 7, she returned to give love another chance. During Season 6 of 'Bachelor in Paradise,' Tahzjuan suffered from the heat. She then spoke openly about her experience. "I had every intention of like, 'Okay, you’re going to get up, do your makeup, look great. You’re trying to find a man,'" Tahzjuan said in 2019. "And then I got down there, and I looked at everyone, and I was like, why am I the only person having so many issues? I was there for just a couple of days. But the elements really got to me." Tahzjuan presently resides in Colorado and works as an associate broker for a real estate tech brokerage. So, what exactly is Tahzjuan doing on the current season of 'The Bachelor,' and is she out to win Zach's heart?

With the relative mayhem of night one behind him, Zach begins courting his 20 possible spouses on 'The Bachelor' this week. A bunch of women, including Brooklyn, Genevie, Katherine, Cat, Kylee, Davia, Brianna, and Bailey, meet up with Zach for a group date in an exclusive clip from Monday's episode, and he's joined by a few special guests. Latto, a two-time 2023 Grammy nominee for Best New Artist and Best Melodic Rap Performance, is up first. "I want to see what y'all working with," the rapper says to the ladies. She then presents a trio of ladies who will be assisting her in evaluating their performance on this date. Courtney Robinson, aka the "winner" of 'The Bachelor' Season 16 and the franchise's biggest villain of all time, has arrived. Tahzjuan and Victoria Fuller are also present.
Despite her difficulties in finding love, Tahzjuan is returning for 'The Bachelor' in 2023. However, it is not as simple as her appearing as a contender from the start. Victoria F, Courtney, and Tahzjuan appear as "judges" on the first group date of the season. Tahzjuan subsequently sits down to talk to Zach in the preview, and the scenario appears flirtatious. Contestants can be heard stating in the voiceover, "Tahzjuan is here to steal my man," and "We don’t need another girl here." "She really is into him," Victoria Fuller says. Tahzjuan appears to try to shoot her shot with Zach and join his competitors.
Anyway, back to the date. To be honest, we're not sure what the women are meant to be doing here - maybe enticing Zach with their most sexy runway walk? Tahzjuan, for one, is dissatisfied. "There's some baddies... in the worst kind of way," she says.
'The Bachelor' 2023 airs Mondays at 8 pm on ABC.
