As the year is about to end, hip-hop fans got to witness a new beef amongst two female emcees namely Latto and Big Indo. Latto, who earlier went by the moniker of Mulatto, fired shots at the latter after she accused her of stealing her song and the aesthetics of the same. The two exchanged heat on social media after none of them decided to cool down.
 
Latto, who is also known as Big Latto, took a jab at the Cleveland rapper after the former teased her song on Instagram where she was seen wearing iced-out bikini and panties while walking a goat. According to Complex, Indo, who is yet to release her song, quickly took to her Instagram to compare both the tracks claiming, “NOT THE BEAT TOO just higher tempo I’m sick cause I looked up to LATTO it look like she been lookin up to me tho or her team stealin sauce” adding, “I obviously got million dollar ideas.” Speaking of beefs in hip-hop, we saw legends Eminem and Snoop Dogg quashing their long-standing beef a few months ago and the same happened when Drake and Kanye West chose peace as they performed together for a benefit concert a few weeks ago.

Big Indo was in no mood to sit back down as she again called Latto out for having a similar name of the song saying, “She went from mullato to ‘BIG LATTO’. I went from ‘Big Indo’ to ‘BIG INDO’. I been ‘big’ indo since I started.” After getting dragged by Big Indo Latto then decided to take the matter in her own hands as she posted a series of posts on Instagram stories.
 
Clapping back at the accusations, the Atlanta native stated, “It’s givin… nobody” adding, “Y’all really think I’m 1 of the 14 ppl that listened to her before??? Lmao I cannot make thi s**t up. I’m over here frustrated af cause IVE NEVER HEARD OF OR SEEN SHAWTY EVER IN MY LIFE!!!! DON’T FLATTER YOURSELF!” According to Complex, Latto in one of her other stories on IG posted, “Like I said … my mamma can drop dead right now if I’m lying.” Big Indo then took her Instagram saying she had no intentions to drag the 23-year-old rapper. “NOW LETS MAKE THIS CLEAR I NEVER DRAGGED @latto777 I said I like HER. it’s the simple fact my song was stolen if not her, her team or someone put it in her face don’t drag what I said”, shared Big Indo before sharing another post where she shared the screenshots of Latto’s stories and captioned them as, “@theshaderoom givin me was my first and only song I ever made like that and that my first time ever takin pictures like that , I’m not into showing my body and talking about p***y I did that one time for fun lol and it’s going crazy and viral ima melody type girl but hey.”

‘Great publicity for Indo’, claims Twitter

Social media users flocked to Twitter as the new beef in town sparked outrage among music lovers. “BIG Latto stole nothing from big Indo”, said one user as another posted, “The issue with Latto and Big Indo is this: The producer. The producer is grimy and I would just toss the song ATP. The producer and writer are clearly lacking integrity and Lattos team should’ve done research but that’s the music industry. Indo proved her point. Latto sorry boo.” One extended support to Big Indo saying, “Latto stole Big Indo flat out.”
 
The next one shared, “Bruh I can’t respect @Latto no more after her or her team stole home girl song. Then tryna play her like she crazy when it’s EVIDENT AS HELL! Everyone starts from somewhere. Obviously BIG INDO has the sauce if y’all stealing it.” Another added, “From a marketing standpoint in reference to the Big Indo & Latto situation. It’s great publicity for Indo especially since the public perception is on the side of Latto stealing her song. By Latto responding, she’s added fuel to the fire & gave Indo a crazy alley oop.” Meanwhile, one concluded, “The Big Indo, Latto s**t stupid .. like who are you even ? No seriously.. you know how many times i seen that weak a** 2- piece set in different styles .. i wish latto never responded cause now all of a sudden this bi**h going live bc she think we care.”
