'The Amazing Race': How many couples are still together from the show?
Since its first appearance back in 2001, 'The Amazing Race' has been a fan favorite throughout all of its 32 seasons so far. It's almost as if viewers are just as invested in the lives of contestants as they are in regard to the competition!
Traveling is one of the many things that's a definite test for all relationships. It's important to spend time with one another and grow as a couple, indulging in simple day-to-day activities, games, or even chores. It's also said that traveling as a couple can be extreme; it can either make or break the couple, according to Psychology Today.

William Jardell and James Wallington
Winners of Season 32 of 'The Amazinf Race', are happily married. While on their last leg on the race, William proposed to James and since began their happily ever after.
Burnie Burns and Ashley Jenkins
During Season 28 of the show, Michael Justin "Burnie" Burns and Ashley Jenkins were just dating, but as of 2019, the two have been married! During 2010, is when Rachel and Brendon first met, on the reality show, 'Big Brother' are now growing their family. During their time on 'The Amazing Race', they were an engaged couple in Season 20 of the show, and as newlyweds throughout season 24. They are blessed with two children.
Jessica Graf and Cody Nickson
Jessica and Cody found each other on the sets of 'Big Brother', before heading to 'The Amazing Race'. After their time on 'The Amazing Race', the couple tied the knot in October of 2018. They too are blessed with two children.
Whitney Duncan and Keith Tollefson
Whitney and Keith ran on Season 25 of 'The Amazing Race', after having met on 'Survivor'. They were engaged already and had pushed their wedding for later. The two are happily committed to one another, and we may hear wedding bells soon!
Jordan Lloyd and Jeff Schroeder
Jordan and Jeff were first seen together on 'Big Brother', before running for Season 16 of 'The Amazing Race', as a newly dating couple. The two placed 7th during their time on the show. During a visit on 'Big Brother' in 2014, Jeff surprised Jordan with a proposal! While planning their wedding, they also found out they were expecting a baby! Since then, the couple have welcomed two children to their family.
Rob Mariano and Amber Brkich
Rob and Amber appeared on Season 7 of 'The Amazing Race', before having met on 'Survivor: All Stars'. On the latter show, Rob proposed to Amber, after she won at the finale. After placing 2nd on the show as an engaged couple, CBS also aired their wedding in a TV special! Today, they're a family of 5; with 3 daughters.
Nicole Franzel and Victor Arroyo
Nicole and Victor first competed against one other on Season 18 of 'Big Brother', but the two got engaged only after the show. In February of 2020, Nicole took to Instagram to announce that she and Victor were getting married, as well as welcoming their healthy baby!
Josh Kilmer-Purcell and Brent Ridge
Josh and Brent first appeared in 2012, on Season 21 of 'The Amazing Race'. Thanks to their show, 'The Fabulous Beekman Boys', the two had already made a name for themselves. They are professional goat farmers, and although they finished in last place for most of the legs of the race, the one they finally won was a big one, as noted by The Hollywood Reporter. The two got married in 2013.
Ernie Halvorsen and Cindy Chiang
During Season 19 of 'The Amazing Race', Ernie and Cindy were an engaged couple. After their big win, Ernie and Cindy tied the knot in 2012, and have three children together.
Justin Scheman and Diana Bishop
Before entering the competition, Justin and Diana were huge fans of the show. So much that he also staged a fake 'Amazing Race' competition to propose to Diana! The two were an engaged couple during their time on Season 27 of the show. A year after, the couple got married, and welcomed their first child in Decmeber of 2018, and a second, in February of 2021.
Kelsey Gerckens and Joey Buttitta
Kelsey and Joey were coworkers as news anchors, during their time on Seaosn 27 of 'The Amazong Race'. After their winning episode of aired in December of 2015, Joey popped the big question to Kelsey, and the two got married in August of 2017! They have a son together.
Mike Dombrowski and Rochelle Nevedal
Mike and Rochelle were cast on Season 26 of 'The Amazing Race', and had only been dating for eight months back then. The couple made it to the 4th place on the show, and shortly, in 2015, Mike revealed that he moved in with Rochelle and her son. The two got married in 2017!
Colin Guinn and Christie Woods
Colin and Christie had given off rather toxic vibes during their time on Season 5 of 'The Amazing Race'. By the time they reappeared on Season 31, the life partners had grown so much together. Even though they've been engaged way back in 2004, they didn't get around to getting married, mostly because Christie doesn't believe in the institution of marriage. Even still, the couple share two sons and couldn't be happier.
