Episode 7 saw a throwback to Detective Danner's (Tiffany Haddish) early days as a police officer and the training she went through. Detailing her rivalry with fellow colleague Detective Germain (Reid Scott) she recalls a particular case that changed her outlook. The case involved a package thief in a hoodie and green hair being a suspect in the murder of a TV writer's wife. While Germain had other ideas, Danner works on her own to solve it and manages to locate the woman whose identity matched the description. But who played the murder suspect you ask? Well, it's none other than the talented Barbie Ferreira who plays Kat Hernandez on the popular HBO teen drama 'Euphoria'.

What role does Barbie Ferreira play in 'The Afterparty?

Barbie Ferreira plays Kat Hernandez on 'Euphoria'. The actress plays an image-conscious teen who contests body positivity while being a headstrong woman. The show sees her character experience trauma post a sexual video of her being leaked, leading to her assuming a dominatrix-like role who takes no-nonsense with her also being known for her experimental makeup.

'The Afterparty' sees her in a different avatar and being accused of murder. Playing a character called Willow, she is seen in a sweet avatar who loves her mother and is just trying to make ends meet with her boyfriend. But everything goes wrong when the actual killer copies her to cover his tracks. Sharing a warm, funny conversation with Danner, she is proven innocent by the police officer and walks free.
