Spoilers for 'The 100' Season 7 Episode 9 'The Flock'

Russheda, in this episode, has finally made it, and while he may have murdered all the Faithful, it made most fans wonder how long will John Murphy (Richard Harmon) survive? Murphy has always been rough around the edges, a little scarce on the empathy and has had a mildly scary attitude over the seasons of the show. This episode though, his blatant lack of selfishness hit fans right in their hearts, even though Murphy may have messed up a bit.

"I’m really glad no one important died in this episode!!!! i was really worried about murphy and hope!!!! #The100," tweeted one fan with another adding, "Also, I wanted the prequel originally but if they hurt murphy ill never watch jroths shows again #The100"''

The episode saw Nikki (Alaina Huffman) hold Emori (Luisa D'Oliveira) at gunpoint demanding that Emori, Murphy and Russheda tell the Faithful that all the Primes are not dead. Murphy, shockingly, steps up to save Emori's life saying that he was the one who was responsible for the death of the four prisoners that died in the reactor room. The man, very easily sacrificed his life, to save Emori's and Raven's who was the real reason why those people had died. If you remember, Raven's guilt still eats her up."There are times where I really don't like Murphy as a character but there are times when he is utterly fabulous and brave #the100," tweeted one fan with another adding, "Murphy would have done anything to save her and the others. If you think i’m crying you’re so right. #the100."

Unfortunately, when Murphy asks the WonKru soldiers to get Russheda out, he also uses the name Sheidheda thereby revealing something many didn't know - Sheidheda had taken over Russell Primes mind and Russell was no more. While some fans were upset calling Murphy an idiot, many refused to overlook the fact that he has had intense character growth in the past seven seasons and credit is due. "The way Murphy just threw his body over Emori’s. That’s love bitch. #The100," wrote one fan. Many other warned, with some tweets reading, "Nobody better lay a finger on Murphy’s head #The100."

"If emori or murphy die i’m done with this show forever #the100," and "Bro I know he f**ked up with saying Sheidheda's name but him saving Emori was the best character growth this episode HE FINALLY GREW UP!"

'The 100' airs on Wednesday nights at 8/7c on The CW.
