'The 100' Season 7 Episode 5: New character Levitt an instant favorite, fans hope he won't let them down
Spoilers for 'The 100' Season 7 Episode 5 'Welcome to Bardo'
This week's episode of 'The 100' filled in the blanks as to what happened to Octavia Blake (Marie Avgeropoulos) when she disappeared into the anomaly twice in Season 6. While we earlier learned what happened when she was in Penance aka Skyring aka Planet Beta, this week's episode showed us what she went through when she was taken by the Disciples.
The Disciples is the group of people from Bardo who believe in the Shepherd. For the most part, they seem ruthless and focused on their goal, however, we met one Disciple this week who may not be so bad. Levitt (Jason Diaz) was the scientist assigned to help extract Octavia's memories, however, even with the Disciples' leader, Anders (Neal McDonough) did not seem to care about Octavia's mental state, Levitt was gentle.
Soon, Levitt became an Octavia fan as he binged her memories (up to Season 3's events from what we could tell) in three days. Even when she says she's just a killer, he says she is a warrior. Later, he even helps her escape from Bardo. We also learn that it was Levitt who helped Hope Diyoza (Shelby Flannery) embed the message, "Trust Bellamy" into her arm.
After the explosion where Bellamy Blake (Bob Morley) disappeared, Levitt ran to Octavia and even told her a mantra to beat the memory-extracting machine. Suffice to say, we are huge fans of the new character and so are other viewers.
One viewer tweeted, "LEVITT LEARNED ABOUT OCTAVIA FOR THREE DAYS - BITCH WE GOT A SHIP! LEVITT AND OCTAVIA, HOLYSHIT! #The100," while another wrote, "Levitt watching Octavia's memories is basically me binging the show in 3 days #the100."
A fan tweeted, "Levitt one true fanboy we stan #The100," while another opined, "I’m not gonna lie Levitt and Octavia are cute but when she fell into Gabriel's arms I was gone #The100." One user joked, "Hot science boy is hot."
A viewer wrote, "imma say it Octavia and Levitt>>>>>>>> Octavia and Gabriel. #The100." Another tweeted, "Levitt may not be such a great character but at least he's got good taste #the100." A fan tweeted, "Levitt and I are the same person omg we both love Octavia #The100."
A fan pointed out, "THE WAY LEVITT JUMPED NEAR OCTAVIA AFTER SHE LOST HER BROTHER I’M FREAKIN CRYING #the100," while another wrote, "I love Levitt so much! And I love that he is such an Octavia stan! #The100."
Fans hope Levitt does not let them down and that he continues to remain to be one of the good guys. A fan tweeted, "I love Levitt please don’t betray us #the100," while another wrote, "I LOVE LEVITT LETS HOPE HE DOESNT LET US DOWN #The100."
