'The 100' Season 7 Episode 13: Fans are done with show, say 'may we meet again' in tribute to Bellamy Blake
Spoilers for ‘The 100’ Season 7 Episode 13 ‘Blood Giant'
The final season of The CW's acclaimed shows has been quite a ride with unfathomable deaths and confused loyalty. But this episode definitely takes the cake when it comes to disappointing fans. The series had garnered a huge fan base for over seven years with meticulous script development, a fictional story that seemed all too real and characters that many fans were deeply attached to.
While the show's purpose is perceived differently by everyone who watches it, it's safe to say that 'The 100' made quite a mark. With so many years invested in the show, fans couldn't help but want their needs heard, and it seems as though with the death of Bellamy Blake by Clarke Griffin, that was the last straw for many fans. Paying tribute to one of TV's most iconic characters, fans took to Twitter to shut the show down calling the move "disrespectful" and "uncalled for".
"Worst final season #The100," tweeted one fan mirroring the sentiments of almost the entire fan base of the show. If you watched the episode, there seemed to be no reason why Clarke would shoot Bellamy considering, Madi's book, which is what she wanted, isn't what she got anyway.
"When #The100 trending for having the worst cinematic 'development' of all time and for ruining the last 7 years of my life by destroying the one thing that grounded the whole f**king show," tweeted another fan.

It's also important to know that shows that have diverse representation such as 'The 100' add increased sensitivity. "Straight cis white male showrunners write for an audience of one, themselves, and if their creation attracts an audience that they find to be lesser than the supposed genius of their art, they will actively attempt to sabotage that audience's love for it," tweeted a very serious fan.
Another added, "I've never seen a show more brutal, disrespectful, and spiteful to its fans. This is how your show is going to be remembered."

It seems that this was the last straw for fans, who have been devastated before when it comes to the plotline or character deaths in the series. "I'm officially done with #The100 I wish all the actors the best & hope they find other amazing shows & movies w/ writers & producers that actually respect the fan's opinions & feedback lots of love to the cast, camera crew, & writers!! May we meet again!! @cwthe100," tweeted a former fan.

"In peace may you leave the shore In love may you find the next Safe passage on your travels until our final journey to the ground may we meet again #bellamyblake #The100," tweeted many fans re-iterating of the series most famous quotes.
Another devastating fan tweeted, "he was trying to save everyone. he was the heart, an amazing friend and brother, and he died alone, with no one beside him, killed by the woman he loves. may we meet again bellamy blake, thank u for everything #The100."

Another fan tribute read, "BELLAMY BLAKE, I LOVE YOU SO MUCH, YOU ARE THE MOST INCREDIBLE AND MAGNIFICENT HERO OF THIS SHOW. NOW WHEN THE HEART WAS NOT THIS SHOW, THAT IS YOU, MY HEART STOPPED TOGETHER WITH YOU. MAY WE MEET AGAIN."
Not to mention, another fan had an interesting point realizing that the show has probably taken away two characters from us, not one. "you know what's worst?! that by doing this they didn't only took away BELLAMY, they took away CLARKE too how am I supposed to keep watching this shit if every time the only thing I'll see will be her shooting bell?! THEY KILLED BOTH OF THEM TODAY," tweeted another fan.

While all this may seem too much for "just a show", the team behind the series was only built on their fan base who now feel extremely betrayed because this character not only had potential but at one point carried the show on his back.
May we meet again Bellamy Blake. 'The 100' airs on Wednesday nights at 8/7c on The CW.
