Ashley and Lascelles join 'Temptation Island' after 7 years of dating, fans say 'they done for'

Despite being with Lascelles for seven years, it took Ashley just an afternoon to form a strong emotional bond with a single on 'Temptation Island'

After dating each other for almost seven years, Ashley Rodriguez and Lascelles Lagares made the bold decision of testing out their relationship on 'Temptation Island'. Having dated only each other, the couple wanted to explore if there was something or someone else out there for them before they got ready to take the next step in their relationship- marriage.

Even though on the paper, Ashley and Lascelles' decision to join the reality dating show where they'll be surrounded by hot singles might sound very practical, unfortunately, fans don't feel the same way. Despite being with Lascelles for seven long years, it took Ashley just an afternoon to form a strong emotional bond with a single from the island and complaint about not having a similar bond with her long-time boyfriend.

When Lascelles heard Ashley share that, he was understandably taken aback but declared that he couldn't give her that emotional connection she was looking for. After watching the season 4 premiere episode, fans have jumped to the conclusion that Ashley is done with her relationship with Lascelles. A fan tweeted, "Ashley seems like she's already checked out of her relationship w/Lascelles. #TemptationIsland." Another fan wrote, "Ashley don’t want that man no more #TemptationIsland." "Ashley done moved on im crying #TemptationIsland," echoed a fan. "@TemptationTV #TemptationIsland Ashley ready to end this 7 year relationship!!!" added a fan.

Many fans also felt that the chances of the couple leaving the island together were pretty slim. A fan shared, "7 years and y’all still ain’t had a proposal or anything?? They definitely ain’t making it out of this together #TemptationIsland." "7 years together and your get a emotional connect day 1 with someone smh yea they done for lol #TemptationIsland @TemptationTV," expressed a fan.
