'Temptation Island': Edgar cries over Gillian texting her ex, fans remind him he cheated

Edgar De Santiago and Gillian Lieberman's relationship is already raising eyebrows. The college sweethearts decided to come on 'Temptation Island' after dating for four years, as they were unsure about their compatibility. But it looks like the couple might be getting their answers a lot sooner than anticipated if the events on the recently aired episode are anything to go by.

Gillian found herself feeling drawn to a single named Tommy Soltis, so she decided to ask him out on a date. During their date, Gillian casually mentioned the promise ring that Edgar gave her and which she wore at all times. She then revealed that he gave her the ring after he cheated on her. Gillian began openly wondering if she should still be wearing the ring. During the bonfire, Edgar was shown the clip of Gillian wondering if she should be wearing the ring, and that devastated him. Edgar broke down and expressed feeling very hurt by her words. He also added that this wasn't the first time he was seeing her second-guessing their relationship, as she was reportedly texting her ex and sending him explicit messages.

After watching Edgar crying over Gillian texting her ex and questioning about wearing the promise ring, fans couldn't help but point out that he was the one who messed up their relationship by cheating on her.
