'Teen Mom 2': Jenelle Evans calls MTV 'unfair' for axing her from show and retaining Amber Portwood instead

'Teen Mom 2' alumni Jenelle Evans has called out MTV for being 'unfair' towards her in a recent QnA segment she did on her YouTube channel this past weekend.

'Teen Mom OG' returned to TV last week and Jenelle is not happy with the show retaining Amber Portwood but still keeping her out after her repeated attempts to come back after she was fired in May last year.  Her termination came a little over a year after her ex-husband David Eason was shown the door in 2018 for his transphobic and homophobic tweets.

In May 2019, David admitted to killing their family dog after it tried nipping at their then two-year-old daughter Ensley. After his admission to killing the dog, Jenelle was shown the door by MTV as she was still in a relationship with him at this point. Since then Jenelle tried various ways to get back to the show. She split from David in October 2019 and moved to Nashville with Ensley and her son Kaiser, from a previous relationship. Sources revealed that the network has no interest in getting her back on the show even though she did try to set up meetings with them.

Jenelle and David were not the only problematic people on the show. Amber Portwood was arrested in July last year on counts of domestic abuse against Andrew Glennon who claimed she hit him with a shoe while he was still holding their one-year-old son James. He also listed another incident where she had tried to break down the door of a locked room with a machete. Amber has since accepted a plea deal and is on probation for three years. After the incident, Andrew acquired primary custody of James and Amber is allowed three unsupervised visits with their son. Despite all this, Amber still continues to be a part of the show.

This obviously hasn't settled well with Jenelle who called MTV out for the unfair behavior. This past Saturday, she took to YouTube for a QnA session. She addressed a question that she claims to have been asked multiple times about her feelings towards Amber being retained and her being cut from the show. She responded saying, "It bothers me, I mean, I think that it's very unfair and I didn't really do anything wrong," she said. In the QnA she also confirmed that she's back in North Carolina and back with her problematic ex, David.

Do you think Amber should be the next on her way out from the show? Do you want to see Jenelle back on the show. Let us know in the comments.
