‘Ted Lasso’ Season 2 has concluded with a bittersweet ending as Richmond FC made it to the Premier League, but lost one of its key members due to some misunderstandings. The best thing about the season was that we got to see everyone’s perspective and how they are dealing with their own problems.

Ted (Jason Sudeikis) is being haunted by his tragic past while Rebecca (Hannah Waddingham) knows how difficult it is for her to trust any man because of what her father did to her mother. Meanwhile, Roy Kent (Brett Goldstein) and Keeley (Juno Temple) are constantly evolving in their relationship by learning new things.

On the other hand, Nathan (Nick Mohammad) left Richmond and has now become a coach of West Ham United. The ending has perfectly set up a Season 3 for the show and it will be interesting to see how makers will be going ahead with the story.

Here’s everything we know about ‘Ted Lasso’ Season 3.

Release date and how to watch

‘Ted Lasso’ Season 3 has already been planned and a report recently suggested that all actors and writers are receiving a good raise in their salaries. However, an official date hasn’t been announced as of yet. Just like previous editions, Season 3 will also be premiering exclusively on Apple TV+.

Plot

With Season 2 ending just a few hours before, it is difficult to guess the plot for Season 3. However, we know that Richmond’s journey in Premier League will be highlighted. On the other hand, Rebecca and Sam’s love story will be moving forward as well. We just need to see if they are ready to tell everyone about it.

Elsewhere, we might see Nate in revenge mode and planning to destroy Richmond during the Premier League. He would be planning to win the games against Richmond and make things worse for Ted. In the end, Ted’s journey as the coach for Richmond will take the centre stage because they are in the big league now and people will start asking questions if they lose this time as well.

Cast

All the original cast members will be returning for Season 3. Jason Sudeikis will be back as Ted Lasso. The actor won’t be leaving the show that has made him a household name and made him win his first-ever Primetime Emmy. On the other hand, actors such as Hannah Waddingham (Rebecca) and Brett Goldstein (Roy) have also won Emmys for their respective roles and will surely be reprising their respective roles.

Juno Temple (Keeley), Brendan Hunt (Coach Beard), and Nick Mohammad (Nathan) will also be returning.

The entire Richmond FC is expected to make a comeback as well. Let’s see if the show introduces fresh faces in Season 3 or not.

Creators

Based on the format and characters from NBC Sports, the series has been developed by the likes of Bill Lawrence, Jason Sudeikis, Joe Kelly, and Brendan Hunt. On the other hand, Lawrence, Sudeikis, Hunt, Kelly, Jeff Ingold, and Bill Wrubel serve as executive producers.
