'Ted Lasso' Season 2 Finale Spoilers: Will Sam leave Richmond FC?
The finale of ‘Ted Lasso’ Season 2 is just around the corner and there is a lot of excitement in viewers to see if Ted would be able to overcome his panic attacks and take Richmond FC back to the Premier League.
However, chances of them having a good Premier League took a serious dent when we found out that a billionaire named Edwin Akufo (Sam Richardson) from Ghana is coming to meet Rebecca (Hannah Waddingham) and Ted Lasso (Jason Sudeikis) with a proposition. He wants to buy Sam and take him back to Africa in order to make a strong national team there.

Elsewhere, Ted has got to know that the news of him getting a panic attack has been leaked to media and The Independent is going to publish it. So, how will Richmond deal with this double blow? But the biggest problem they are going through is that they might lose their best player before they get promoted to one of the biggest leagues in the world.
Is Sam thinking about the transfer? Or he will stay with Richmond. Let’s take a look at what might happen during the final episode.
‘Ted Lasso’ Season 2 Finale Spoilers: Will Sam leave Richmond FC?
Apple TV+ released a new clip from the final episode of Season 2 in which see Rebbeca, Higgins (Jeremy Swift), and Keeley (Juno Temple) talking to each other. Rebecca has received flowers from Edwin Akufo and a small letter, in which he wrote, “Sorry for your loss.” No one knows what’s he’s talking about and that’s when Rebecca reads the remaining part of the message which talks about Sam leaving Richmond FC after a terrific day with Akufo. He wrote, “We will give Sam a very good home in Casablanca.”
Rebbeca asks Higgins if he knows which way Sam will be going to go. Higgins reveals he has no idea about and he’s trying to remain calm about it.
So, it seems that Sam is really thinking about the transfer and we might see a shocking reveal in the Season 2 finale. Sam loves his home country and even canceled a sponsorship deal when he got to know that the company was actually polluting seas in Nigeria. So, he might take a surprising decision to leave Richmond and go back to his home and play for his country.
Let’s see how Rebecca pursues him on not leaving the club and most importantly, not leaving her.
‘Ted Lasso’ Season 2 Episode 11 Spoilers: Did Nathan betray Ted?
At the end of Episode 11, we see Ted finally smiling after having a fun day with the team doctor Sharon. However, when he returns home, he receives a message from a journalist who reveals that he knows about his panic attack during the game against Tottenham Hotspur at FA Cup. He also goes on to say that it was Nathan who leaked the news and told him what happened that day.
The journalist asked Ted if he would like to comment on this. Ted, visibly upset, replies back by saying that he won’t be making any comments on this.
We all know how Nathan has become so arrogant after the Tottenham game and believes that he should be getting g credit for everything. It will be interesting to see how Ted responds to it and how the management will address the issue.
