Food is usually the first barrier broken when one tries to explore another culture, and Padma Lakshmi, the host of 'Top Chef', takes us on a food journey across America. This June, Hulu's 'Taste the Nation With Padma Lakshmi' will explore cultures through cuisine. The trailer seems to be an exciting one, with Lakshmi sampling cuisines from different chefs. If you're a fan of Netflix's 'Ugly Delicious' or 'Street Food,' this show should definitely be on your watchlist. Here is what we know about the upcoming series.

Plot

Hulu's official synopsis reads, "In 'Taste the Nation', award-winning cookbook author, host and executive producer Padma Lakshmi, takes audiences on a journey across America, exploring the rich and diverse food culture of various immigrant groups, seeking out the people who have so heavily shaped what American food is today. From indigenous communities to recent immigrant arrivals, Padma breaks bread with Americans across the nation to uncover the roots and relationship between our food, our humanity and our history – ultimately revealing stories that challenge notions of identity, belonging, and what it means to be American."

The season will consist of 10 episodes, 30 minutes each with each one capturing delicious food in different destinations.
