'Tamar Braxton: Get Ya Life': Release date, plot, trailer and all you need to know about We TV's reality show

Tamar Braxton's new reality series 'Tamar Braxton: Get Ya Life!' on We TV was originally scheduled to air in July. However, her suicide attempt led to the network pushing the release of the show by a couple of weeks and it now has a brand new release date. Here's all you should know about the troubled singer's new show –

Release Date 

'Tamar Braxton: Get Ya Life' will premiere on September 10 with new episodes airing on Thursdays at 10 pm ET only on We TV. 

Plot 

According to We TV's press release, "After nearly losing everything, including herself, Tamar is determined to turn her life around and take matters into her own hands by sharing her truth in a revealing new docu-series that follows her every move. However, nothing can prepare Tamar for the most epic journey of her life. In a series of shocking revelations and extreme breakthroughs, it's the most authentic side of Tamar Braxton ever as she vows to show the good, the bad, and the ugly. Cameras continue rolling during Tamar's most vulnerable hours as she invites love back into her life with her new boyfriend David, relaunches her music career, navigates co-parenting with her ex, and battles the pressure to reconcile and reunite with her family. In the end, will Tamar be able to bounce back and turn her life around? Find out Thursday, July 30 at 10 pm only on WE TV."

Tamar Braxton is an American singer and founder of The Braxtons R&B musical group along with her siblings: Toni, Towanda, Trina, and Traci. Tamar was a co-host on Fox’s talk show, 'The Real', from 2013 to 2016 for which she was nominated for two Daytime Emmy Awards. Last year she won the second edition of 'Celebrity Big Brother' becoming the first African American to ever win 'Big Brother' franchise in the US. She is multiple awards nominee and has won one BET Award and three Soul Train Music Awards.

Tamar's boyfriend David Adefeso will also be appearing on the show.

Creators

Michael Beck is the executive producer of this series. A couple of his production credits include 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta', 'The Real Housewives of Miami', 'The Real Housewives of New York City', 'The Real Housewives of Dallas', 'Don’t Be Tardy', 'Southern Charm' & 'Married to Medicine'.

Tamar Braxton is credited as the Executive Producer on this show as well.
